Another gem of this  house is that while it is in a quiet, remote location, it is only a 2 minute drive to the town of Vashon (supermarkets, hardware stores, restaurants, etc.)

The tide on our beach varies greatly  - from the bulkhead to 300 yards of beach.  Compared to many Puget Sound beaches, our's is unique that the beach is firm and walkable all the way out to the lowest tide.

For the past 23 years we have been crabbing and clamming on our beach.  Each season there is an abundance of both. Dig for a Geoduck Clam! We also have a permitted oyster farm on our beach with 16 oyster boxes loaded with fresh oysters whenever you want them.
